QUICK FAQ'S ABOUT FUNDRAISING
How does the fundraiser "kickoff"?
After choosing 5-6 scents to promote in your fundraiser, we will help you choose your kickoff and run dates.
You will be supported with an order form and scent description flyer/marketing kit.
Once your forms have been reviewed and approved by you or your board, the team or organization will be off and running to start raising money!
How do I close the fundraiser?
- On the close date, all order forms and money will be due to your organization or team representative.
- You will have an extra day or two for stragglers and to collect all money. Your organization will collect their portion of the earnings upfront.
- It is very common to have some last-minute orders come in, so we encourage a few days after the close date to get all orders and money from participants.
- Once Soy Light Candle Co receives their payment and final candle totals, then we are able to begin making your custom order. Production time begins once SLC receives final payment along and candle orders.
After orders are submitted, when will we receive the candles?
Turn times depend on the season, and the number of candles sold. We are a small family owned and operated business producing a hand-poured, hand-made product which takes time. We are always trying to improve our lead times.
With all of this in mind, have confidence that we do our very best to complete orders as quickly as possible, without jeopardizing the quality of our product in any way.
- Typically, an order of 200-300 candles takes around 2-3 weeks for us to complete.
- Orders of 600 or more can take 4-6 weeks and that can vary by season, availability of materials, ship times from vendors, and so on.
Can orders from friends and family be shipped directly to them?
We are not currently set up to ship individual orders for our fundraising partners at this time.
The team/organization is welcome to set up their own shipping terms if they would like to ship outside of their local fundraising area.
